Jean Reidy is a rhythm-less dancing queen, a cackling karaoke contestant and an elite marathon runner in the Couch Potato Category. She's been told that a naughty little kid lurks within her. And with those credentials she could only be a freelance writer and children's author. Her articles have appeared in over fifty publications including FAMILYFUN, THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR, THE WRITER,  and THE DENVER POST. Jean's books include TOO PURPLEY!  and TOO PICKLEY! (both Bloomsbury, 2010), TOO PRINCESSY! (Bloomsbury, 2012), LIGHT UP THE NIGHT (Disney Hyperion, 2011), EVERY CORNER NEEDS A MONSTER (Disney Hyperion, TBD)  and ALL THROUGH THE TOWN (Bloomsbury, TBD) . She is represented by Erin Murphy.
